2020 Meeting Dates
All upcoming 2020 Meetings are held at the White Settlement Senior Center, 8211 White Settlement Road, unless scheduled elsewhere.
Meetings begin at 1:30 p.m. with a short business session, followed by a guest speaker or program, refreshments and conclusion about 3:00 p.m. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Annual Memberships are available for $15 Family/Group and $10 Individual. Your application for membership will be voted on at the next scheduled Historical Society meeting.
2020 Meeting Schedule
Saturday March 7: Spring Quarterly Meeting.
Guest Speaker: Tracy Jon Houpt Jr., a resident of the Tejas Trails neighborhood, talking about his interest in White Settlement and west side local history and his starting a blog on wordpress.com titled "Tejas Trail Historical Tidbits" with a power point presentation on two blogs already published including a visit to Tannahill Station.
Refreshments will be provided.
Saturday, May 16: Annual Meeting and Election of New Executive Committee Officers
A short business meeting will be held first to discuss Society matters. New officers for 2020-21 will be elected. Guest Speaker: Dwayne Lee Program: "Re-Visiting the D-Day Beaches"
Reminder to renew your membership. Dues help fund our membership affiliated annual Brewer High School Graduate $500 Scholarship.
