2018 Meeting Dates

Upcoming 2018 Meetings will be held at the White Settlement Senior Center, 8211 White Settlement Road.
Meetings begin at 1:30 p.m. with a short business session, followed by a guest speaker or program, refreshments and conclusion about 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
Memberships are available for $10 Annual Individual and $15 Annual Family. Your application for membership will be voted on at the next Historical Society meeting.

2018 Meeting Schedule

Saturday March 24 Speaker: Jim Hodgson, Executive Director of the Fort Worth Aviation Museum, on "How the First World War Changed Texas with a power point presentation

Saturday, May 19: 43rd Annual Meeting and Election of New Officers.
A short business meeting will be held first to discuss Society matters. New officers for 2018-19 will be elected. Our current president Jimmy Weaver will be standing down. Membership dues help fund our membership affiliated annual Brewer High School Graduate $500 Scholarship. One member has proposed the name of an eligible graduate candidate to vote on during the meeting. Guest Speaker: Tyler Alberts, Director of the Fort Worth Military Museum, will give a Presentation on "Camp Bowie 1917-19", the military post that was located here in Fort Worth.
