2024 Meeting Dates
49th Spring Quarterly Meeting Saturday, March 9th at 12:00 p.m.: Our 49th Spring Quarterly Meeting will be held at the White Settlement Senior Services Center, 8211 White Settlement Road, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Guest Speaker Tracy Jon Houpt, Society President and Historian, will give a presentation on "Early African American Settlers In Our Area." Please bring a shared snack plate for the refreshments table.
49th Annual Meeting Saturday, June 1st at 12:00 p.m: Our 49th Annual Meeting will be held at the White Settlement Senior Services Center, 8211 White Settlement Road, beginning at 12:00 p.m. The meeting will include the election of new officers including Society President for May 2024 to May 2025, a short business agenda and a guest program by out-going Society President and Historian/Archivist Tracy J. Houpt entitled "The History and Culture of the Tonkawa Indians: One of the Tribes That Lived on This Land." Please bring a shared snack plate for the refreshments table.

Places through The Portal to Texas History" with Dr. Ana Krahmer, Ph.D.,
Director, University of North Texas - Denton, Digital Libraries
Division. Please bring a shared snack plate for the

49th Winter Quarterly Meeting Saturday,
December 14th at 12:00 p.m.: Our Christmas Party, Holiday Carols and a
White Elephant Gift Exchange Game.
Bring a favorite holiday snack plate to share for the refreshment table
and an unwrapped bagged or boxed gift item to play the Exchange Game with
the order of play determined by the drawing of numbers. Meeting Location:
