Basic wash day tools = wash pot for initial punching of clothes in
hot soapy water,
Rub Board, for rubbing clothes in first tub to remove dirt
two other tubs with clean water were used for rinsing
Home made lye soap
Clothes were twisted semi dry by hand and hung on outside line or
fence to dry
